Hello friends. I was out and about yesterday and decided to stop into my local JoAnn's store and found out that they are closing. I'm so sad. I thought, well I better see if they have anything good on sale, so immediately went over to the paper crafting department. I bought some Spellbinder's dies at 50% off, a Martha Stewart punch at 40% off and a cuttlebug embossing folder for 50% off. I would have liked to kept going, but I have to keep on eye on the funds going out. Below is a card I made last night with some of my new items.
For this card I used white card stock for the base. I used my new Cuttlebug embossing folder, Swiss Dots. I punched 3/4 strips with my new Martha Stewart punch called Doily Lace and place them on the top and bottom of the card. I then took some silver card stock that has a slight shimmer and embossed it using an Anna Griffin folder called, Paisley Rose. I think the little roses are Prima flowers I bought a while ago from Michael's. I attached them along with a white ribbon I made. The sentiment, I bought from HSN from Anna Griffin, Here's a close up below...

Well Hello there everyone. As Christmas is quickly approaching, it has been a very busy month for me. Decorating, shopping, wrapping, Christmas card making, working, laundry and now getting ready for a holiday trip. There just doesn't seem like enough hours in the day to get everything done. However, I must take time for crafting. Below I have a card to share with you and I hope you like it.
I designed this Christmas Card with a little help from Ms. Anna Griffin at HSN. The card base, gold foil swirls and sentiment are from this year's Christmas Card making kit. The green die cut is an Anna Griffin die I purchased from HSN and the red bow embellishment is from last year's Anna Griffin Card making kit. I just love how this card came together. Simplistic and modern.
Thanks for stopping by. Please leave me a comment.
I was feeling under the weather this past week. I had a cold and I'm still nursing the back end of it. I got to thinking about all my friends and family who may be suffering with a cold or flu right now and decided to make this card and dedicated it to all my Facebook Friends who have not been feeling well lately. This one is for you guys. I hope it cheers you up a little.
I saw this image on Little Blue Button Stamps web site and thought it was sweet. I colored it using Prisma Pencils and a Masterpiece mineral spirits. The papers are by Ki, called Doilies. And the mat behind the image is paper from Colorbok, Light Bright. I got the paper pads from Walmart.
The clip and grid paper are from Anna Griffin card kit. The clipboard, pen, band aid, and medicine are from Jolee's Boutique stickers I got from Aaron Brothers Art and Framing. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the pink strip. The bow is seam binding that was dyed to match.

Hi. I am a blessed wife and mother of a wonderful 6 yr old little boy. I have always had some type crafting in my life. At a young age my mother taught me how to sew on our family pool table, which I thought was so cool. Then as teen a family friend taught me cross stitching and I did that up until I saw an Anna Griffin Christmas card making kit on HSN for sale. I bought it and haven't looked back. I love it. I'm addicted. Anyways, I hope you enjoy my site and I hope you are inspired to create something beautiful. I am looking forward to hearing your comments and hope you come back frequently to see what I have for you. Blessings and Peace to you. Diane
