I was itchin' to make a scrapbook page and there just happens to be an Anna Griffin Show on HSN coming up on the Wednesday, the 21st. You might want to tune in. HSN sells great scrapbook and card making products at good prices and it seems to me that you get a lot for your money. They have great values. Well, I need to start using all the wonderful products I've bought so far, then I can buy more. he he he... Everything for this page was created with Anna Griffin products except for the littlest hearts. I got those from a collection by David Tutera, also bought at HSN.
I started by cutting three by three squares from this gorgeous paper from Anna's 20th Anniversary Collection paper and adhered them to a full sheet of card stock. Then I matted my picture and before placing it down I put the heart down in the corner. This heart was created using the new set of "Valentines" embossing folders and die set. I embossed the heart on pink metallic paper and then removed the center of the heart, which I think is very dainty pretty.
The foil accents are from the Anna Griffin Foil Flourishes Sticker set. The butterflies, boarder, rose and sentiment are all from different kits I've purchased over time.
The big beautiful flower is a 3d embellishment I made using the Antique Botanical Die Cut set. This is a beautiful collection of flowers, birds and butterflies by Anna. I plan on using the butterflies on a project this spring, so stay tuned...
The circle die, blue twirls and xoxo are dies from Anna Griffin that I cut and then fussy cut the shapes that I wanted. I felt I didn't have room for the whole die so I just used a portion of them. I didn't want to embellish too much because I wanted the beautiful paper to be seen.
Well, I hope you are inspired by this page. Everything used to create it is from the Anna Griffin Collection and you can purchase her products at HSN.
Hi. I am a blessed wife and mother of a wonderful 6 yr old little boy. I have always had some type crafting in my life. At a young age my mother taught me how to sew on our family pool table, which I thought was so cool. Then as teen a family friend taught me cross stitching and I did that up until I saw an Anna Griffin Christmas card making kit on HSN for sale. I bought it and haven't looked back. I love it. I'm addicted. Anyways, I hope you enjoy my site and I hope you are inspired to create something beautiful. I am looking forward to hearing your comments and hope you come back frequently to see what I have for you. Blessings and Peace to you. Diane
