Hello everyone. I am very excited. I found a new web site (well I should say new to me). They've been in business since 2008. I really like their products. They are a Christian company and I just love all the scripture sentiment stamps that they have available. They also sell designer papers and dies. They are Our Daily Bread Designs (ODBD for short). They have a color challenge going on right now so I decided to enter with the card below:
Below is the Our Daily Bread Color chart for the Challenge; ODBDSLC233. To get to their site just click on the color chart below and it will take you to their blog to enter the challenge. You will need to scroll down a little to see the challenge under the date of Tuesday, April 7, 2015. The winner of this challenge will win a prize from ODBD.
I also designed this card to enter into the Cardabilities #120 Challenge and below is the sketch to use for this challenge. To enter this challenge click on the sketch and it will take you to this Challenge. The post is dated Monday, March 30, 2015 and the sponsor of this challenge is Sami Stamps.
I had lots of fun incorporating the colors and the sketch together to make this lovely card. Okay, now it's your turn.
For this card I used Heartfelt Creations Birds and Blooms designer paper that just happened to be the perfect color for the ODBD color challenge. I used the decorative Lace Border Die and cut it out of lavender card stock. Then I fussy cut the heart shaped boarder off and attached the remainder to my card. I then added some lace over the top of the boarder. I cut out this die once more but in white card stock and fussy cut the lattice portion of the die to make the lattice banner. I used the Delightful Daisy Die for my flowers. I cut them out in white card stock and colored the tips with purple Colorbox ink and then crinkled the tips to give it dimension. I use mill hill beads in periwinkle for the centers of my blooms. The leaf swirls are also a Heartfelt Creations die that I cut out with matching cardstock that I had in my stash. The leaf die I used is from the Cut Mat Create 2A Die. I cut one and cut it in half and attached to my card. I also used one tiny leaf swirl at the bottom on the largest bloom. The sentiment I type up on my computer and cut it into a banner style. Thank you for visiting today. Please leave me a comment.
Hi. I am a blessed wife and mother of a wonderful 6 yr old little boy. I have always had some type crafting in my life. At a young age my mother taught me how to sew on our family pool table, which I thought was so cool. Then as teen a family friend taught me cross stitching and I did that up until I saw an Anna Griffin Christmas card making kit on HSN for sale. I bought it and haven't looked back. I love it. I'm addicted. Anyways, I hope you enjoy my site and I hope you are inspired to create something beautiful. I am looking forward to hearing your comments and hope you come back frequently to see what I have for you. Blessings and Peace to you. Diane
