Happy Saturday! I hope that you are enjoying your day, whatever you're up to. Well, I have been busy the last few days and I have some creations that I would like to share with you. I hope that you are inspired. I decided that I would try another challenge, so I found "memascrafts.blogspot.com." and right now she has "anything goes" so here goes... Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think.
Ok. Here is my first attempt to really embellish a card. I was looking around on Pinterest and found a beautiful blog by a lady named Kathy. Her blog is "Inmylittlekorner.blogspot.com" and she is so talented, she inspired me to take my card making to the next level. I decided to really let loose and take out all my buttons, ribbon, trinkets and such and go to town.
The designer paper is from Heartfelt Creations, the Classic Sunflower Collection.
The flower die is by Heartfelt Creations. I stamped the yellow paper with the Classic Sunflower PreCut set, HCPC 3626 using Tim Holtz Distress Ink Walnut stain. Then I cut out the flower with the Classic Sunflower die, HCD 753. The greenery was cut from dark green card stock using the Arianna Lace Die, HCD 747, also from Heartfelt Creations.
For the center of the flowers, I used mini Prills "Bright Ideas" and I mixed the brown with the dark Yellow. The rest of the embellishments are all from my stash from years of crafting, buttons, floral wire, gold cord, twine, gold glitter glue, purple rhinestones, and sparkle white tulle.
I saw a little pumpkin on pinterest similar to this one and I decided to make one of my own. I used 3 scallop edged ovals by Sizzix instead of one large circle for the pumpkin. I also made my own leaves instead of using a die. You can check out Lorri Heiling's blog page at stampingaddict.blogspot.com for the one I was inspired by.
For the impression on the pumpkin, I used an embossing folder called "Thistle Bouquet" by Anna Griffin. You can find her beautiful products on HSN.com.
The yellow feather is a Spellbinders die, S4-428 and the sentiment tag is from Hot off the Press, from the Cider Artful Kit and I added a little eyelet to it. The bow , ribbon and button I had in my stash. Thank for looking.
Hi. I am a blessed wife and mother of a wonderful 6 yr old little boy. I have always had some type crafting in my life. At a young age my mother taught me how to sew on our family pool table, which I thought was so cool. Then as teen a family friend taught me cross stitching and I did that up until I saw an Anna Griffin Christmas card making kit on HSN for sale. I bought it and haven't looked back. I love it. I'm addicted. Anyways, I hope you enjoy my site and I hope you are inspired to create something beautiful. I am looking forward to hearing your comments and hope you come back frequently to see what I have for you. Blessings and Peace to you. Diane
